A Time for Reflection & Growth - A Year End Message from WFO
Dear Friends,
Thank you for a warm welcome into this incredible community. It has been an honor and pleasure. Our jobs are rooted in the transparency of our actions, the sustainability of our approach and the operationalizing of our values; liberation, justice, collectivity, joy, integrity, growth and courage. The WFO team is deeply committed to this assignment and currently I am focused on reflection.
The end of the year is a time for reflection, a time to take stock, and a time to plan for the new year. We have been encouraged by this exceptional community and cannot wait to continue our path of learning, discovery and momentum towards gender justice.
We conducted a stakeholder engagement project to learn more about the ideas, desires and needs of our community. We have heard you loud and clear and are committed to enhancing our communications, increasing transparency, cultivating opportunities to be involved and ensuring resources are accessible.
There is much work to be done and we are all in this together. Dismantling sexism that is centered in gender justice must be done collectively. Thank you for being a part of this essential and important work. Wishing you, your family and friends a very happy holiday and joyous new year.
In community,
Libra Forde, ED
