Gender Warriors Unite!

We believe in the power of people. That is why we are reaching out to you!

From grantmaking, to research, to community gatherings, and in so many other ways, we are committed to advancing gender justice through our actions!  At every level we are working to interrupt and challenge systemic barriers.  Join us in making a difference!

Here are some ways to be a Gender Warrior with WFO!

  • Be in community with us!  Join us at one of our weekly happy hours!  (more information below)

  • Follow us on social media and share our content

  • Sign-up to volunteer to support our events and work

  • Donate to WFO and be part of a collective of individuals raising funds for transformative change!

We are so proud of the work we are doing and have done together already this month!  Our events, gatherings, barrier breaking grantmaking, and research are the foundation of what we are building on, and we are looking for like-minded folks who have a passion for realizing justice to join us.

BUILDING COMMUNITY FOR IMPACT!
TODAY and EVERY WEDNESDAY

We have teamed up with the only sports bar in the WORLD that exclusively plays women sports. They are inspiring a generation and creating a space that celebrates women athletes. Wednesday Nights in March come meet the team of WFO and learn about how, together, we can dismantle systems of oppression and achieve gender justice in Oregon.

March 15th, 22nd, 29th - 2pm-4pm and 8pm-9pm

Out Load & With Laughter!
Feminism, Activism, Justice + Friendship and Courage on International Women's Day

The Women's Foundation of Oregon would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended "Out Loud & With Laughter! Feminism, Activism, Justice + Friendship and Courage on International Women's Day". If you missed the event, don't worry! You can access the recording here.

It was truly inspiring to hear from authors Judy Gumbo and Ruby McConnell and spend the afternoon with Tra'Renee. It felt incredible to be in community with such a wonderful, thoughtful and engaging group.

We look forward to hosting other events like this in the future. The work of WFO is only possible with community givers. We would love for you to join us in our collective efforts to dismantle systemic barriers and create lasting gender justice. Invest in the fight today.

Solidarity in Sovereignty!

Registration is now open for Solidarity in Sovereignty, a five week virtual learning series developed in partnership with local Indigenous women leaders and the Center for Women Leadership focused on educating our community about under-discussed issues affecting Indigenous communities.

The topics covered during this teach-in are crucial to the lives and wellbeing of Indigenous women and gender expansive people. We invite non-indigenous members of our community to begin or continue their learning journey on five current issues impacting Native Nations across our region.  RSVP TODAY
